A black snake in Radharani’s hairs: question and answer

posted in: DB, English, Kadacha ENG, NB 0

Question:

Is it okay to think like this? If I see a snake, I can think of this story and of the Goswami’s and our Guru Parampara, and Sri Sri Radha Krishna?

Answer

If seeing a snake causes you a sense of fear or disgust, linking that feeling to Srimati Radharani is not beneficial because it generates an inappropriate superimposition of rasa (rasa-abhasa). If, on the other hand, that vision is indifferent to you, it is good to associate anything with something spiritual, such as Srimati Radharani, the great Acarya or Sri Vrindavana Dhama.
