The news that the Pandava brothers had successfully finished their last year of exile spread around the world and sowed dismay everywhere. This meant that war was likely to break out soon.
In those days, the Pandavas, with their closest friends, moved to Upaplavya, one of the cities of the Matsya kingdom, where they began to prepare militarily to be ready in the event of a conflict.
It didn’t take long for all the allies to arrive.
First, Krishna and Balarama, then Drupada, Satyaki and thousands of other kings and great heroes began to flock to the city, all eager to avenge the grievances inflicted on their friends.
But in the midst of so much warrior ferment there were also moments of joy, when the lavish marriage between Abhimanyu and Uttara was celebrated.
The black clouds of the coming war did not obscure that happy day.
