Arrested in Agra
Being ordered by Jiva Gosvami, Syamananda Prabhu finally left for Utkal accompanied by Kisora, Balaka, Syama Dasa, Thakura Prasada Dasa and other disciples.
When they reached Agra they were imprisoned by the local guards, who suspected them of being robbers because they did not have documents of identity. However on that night Lord Krishna, Who is always very affectionate towards His devotees, assumed the form of Narasimhadeva and duly chastised the Mughal officer there. The officer surrendered to Syamananda Prabhu and became a Vaisnava and great servant of the sadhus and devotees of Lord Krishna.
