Mount #Kailash is 6,683 meters holy mountain part of the Trans Himalayan lies in Nagri of Tibet autonomous region. Lake Mansarovar and Lake Rakshastal are nearby Mount Kailash. Kailash is also the main source of some of the longest Rivers, Indus, Sutlej, Karnali, and Brahmaputra. The four major religions believe Mount #Kailasa is the holy mountain. For Hindu, it is the home of Lord Shiva and Parvati. For Buddhists, it is the navel of the universe, for Bon, the abode of the sky goddess Sipaimen and for Jain, it is where their first leader was enlightened. Local Tibetan people’s name for Mount Kailash is Gang Rinpoche.
