Question
When talking about Cupid, his desire for revenge is mentioned. How can there be a feeling like revenge in these heavenly gardens?
Answer
What we call heaven is not the spiritual world. Only in Vaikuntha there are not what an advanced Vaisnava would see as petty squabbles.
Everywhere in the world we find the typical weaknesses of someone identified with a material body and anything else related to the body.
Revenge is one of the material weaknesses and exists also in the upper planets, even between Devas or Rishis.
But we have to be careful to keep suspended our mechanism of personal judgement because we are not talking about common men. Unless an authoroity doesn’t tell us, we have no way to know if these are divine pastimes.
So we can judge negatively (for example) Kamadeva’s desire for revenge but not judging negatively Kamadeva.
