Chanting as a joke
Parihasa-namabhasa
That person who chants Krishna-nama in jest, just like Jarasandha, passes through this world of birth and death.
Chanting without respect
Stobha-namabhasa
While making angry gestures, Caidya[1] also chanted namabhasa disrespectfully. Despite this he was able to cut ties with this material world.
Chanting carelessly
Hela-namabhasa
Hela-namabhasa is when one chants ‘Krishna’ and ‘Rama’ absentmindedly and in a disrespectful mood.
All these types of namabhasas can liberate the mlecchas. Those who are materialistic and lazy follow this path.
Chanting with Sraddha and chanting with negligence are two different types of Namabhasa
Sraddha o hela-namabhasera bheda
You have ordained that when one chants with sraddha but also with anarthas, this is sraddha-namabhasa.
Starting with sanketa, where one chants in a disrespectful mood, to chanting the Holy Name with hela, this is chanting without sraddha.
Hela-namabhasa merely destroys the results of sins and grants liberation.
Namabhasa destroys Anarthas and gives rise to Prema
Anartha-nase namabhasa nama haiya prema deya
Namabhasa can give everything except Krishna-prema. By progressing with namabhasa, one eventually arrives at Suddha-nama.
When the anarthas disappear, Suddha-nama appears. Then Krishna-prema certainly manifests.
Namabhasa cannot give prema directly. But by following the appropriate procedures, the Holy Name will give prema.
The difference between Namabhasa and Namaparadha
Namabhasa o namaparadhera bheda
So, I offer my respects to anyone who avoids offenses to the Holy Name and chants in namabhasa.
O Sarvesvara, I declare that namabhasa is infinitely superior to karma and jnana.
If there is sraddha, which is the foundation of rati, one becomes purified. Then the pure Name arises[2].

[2] The point that Haridas Thakura is making is that in any manner one must chant, even in namabhasa. Thanks to this sraddha, Suddha-nama will then arise and then rati, love.
