Srila Prabhupada’s words of wisdom

Prabhupada: A living entity does not kill anyone; neither a living entity is ever killed. One who knows this, he knows. So that is the position. So killing does not mean that killing the living entity. That is not possible. Killing means to kill his demonic activities. Stop. Killing means stop acting.>>> Ref. VedaBase => Bhagavad-gita 7.2 — March 10, 1975, London
Prabhupada: So better remain a foolish person perpetually to be directed by Guru Maharaja. That is perfection. And as soon as he learns the Guru Maharaja is dead, “Now I am so advanced that I can kill my guru and I become.” Then he’s finished.>>> Ref. VedaBase => Room Conversation — August 16, 1976, Bombay

Prabhupada: About karmic debt, yes, it is generally that the debtor is obliged to take birth and also the creditor. Sometimes the creditor takes birth as the son of the debtor and after being a very affectionate son for a few days, he dies and thus the debtor becomes aggrieved very much. This is the punishment. In this way in every transaction the participants are becoming involved in their resultant action of karma. This is karma-bandhana, or the bondage of different fruitive activity. It is advised that one should act only for Krsna, otherwise he will be involved in karma-bandhana.>>> Ref. VedaBase => Letter to: Madhudvisa — Bombay 10 November, 1975

Prabhupada: It is my duty to help you always in the matter of understanding Krishna Consciousness and whatever I am trying to bestow upon you all is the gift of Lord Krishna directly — I am just doing the work of a bearer. There is nothing of my personal contribution and I ask all your mercy so that I may be able to distribute Krishna’s message as it is without any deviation. That will make Krishna, myself, and all others eternally happy. It is so nice, sublime and easy to perform.>>> Ref. VedaBase => Letter to: Himavati — Montreal 14 June, 1968

Prabhupada: Kala means death. Or kala means the black snake. The black snake destroys. As soon as touches anything, it is destroyed. Similarly, This kala is also another form of Krsna. It is very powerful. It is not ordinary thing. Its business is to destroy. How the kala can destroy? As soon as kala sees that you are distorting, then it will be lost.>>> Ref. VedaBase => Bhagavad-gita 4.2 — March 22, 1974, Bombay
