The auspicious system of smarana is here being described: Arising from sleep during the brahma-muhurta, the sadhaka should either perform smarana or kirtana of his Deity’s numerous names. All glories to the golden-complexioned Gaurahari, who has large lotus-like eyes and beautiful arms that hang down to His excellent knees. He continually dances in movements saturated with bhakti-rasa, and He possesses great transcendental power.
