The chanting of the holy name spreads the moonlight that makes the transcendental lotus of good wishes blossom. In the Prabhasa Khanda it is written:
madhura-madhuram etan mangalam mangalanam
sakala-nigama-valli-sat-phalam cit-svarupam
sakrdapi parigitam sraddhaya helaya va
bhrgu-vara nara-matram tarayet krsna-nama
Of all auspicious things this hari-nama is the most favorable, it is the sweetest thing, and it is the eternal transcendental fruit of the Vedic tree of knowledge. O best of the Bhrgu, the holy name grants liberation even if chanted only once without offense, with faith or negligence.
