The nature of Bhakti
Bhakti-svarupa
When the Name manifests Its mercy to the Jiva, svarupa-sakti combines with the essence of samvit-sakti and takes the form of bhakti.
The effects of Bhakti
Bhakti-kriya
The svarupa-sakti appears and thus the Name flowers fully. Then Sarvesvari[1] reveals the ingredients of rasa[2].
The transcendental Jiva thus purified enters that rasa. This is amazing.
Alambana as causal element of Rasa
Rasera vibhava alambana
One of the causal elements[3] of rasa is the alambana-tattva[4]. Alambana has two divisions: the asraya[5], which is the devotee, and the visaya[6], which is the treasure, Krishna.
When the Name is constantly chanted by a great devotee, then by the mercy of the Name, the form, qualities and Lila are revealed to him.
Uddipana as the causal element of Rasa
Rasera vibhava uddipana
Uddipana includes the form and qualities of Krishna. Both alambana and uddipana are vibhava[7].
