The instruction of the Lord

Prabhura ajna

Listen to Hari Dasa! When this lila of Mine is no longer visible[1], evil people will create darkness in the world.

At that time, these supreme instructions of yours will be correctly understood by those sadhus who are still present in this world[2].

The Niskincana[3] who takes shelter of this process and the Name, sits in a secluded place and engages in bhajana of Krishna.

A Jiva attains bhakti on the strength of his own good fortune, but not everyone has the power to achieve bhakti.

To make bhakti steady for those persons who have sukrti, I have appeared in order to propagate the Holy Name which is the yuga–dharma.

Hari Dasa Thakura is the assistant in the propagation of the Holy Name

Hari-dasa thakura nama-pracarera sahaya

You are my assistant in performing this activity, so I have listened and caused nama-tattva to come from your mouth.

Hari-nama Cintamani is an all-encompassing mine of nectar. It is achieved by the power of Krishna’s mercy. Such a person is very successful and is a great soul. He constantly experiences complete bliss, because it leads to the worship of Lord Krishna in raga-bhava[4].

Grasping the feet of such a person and crying, this insignificant individual who possesses nothing, constantly implores: After drinking it a little, please take what remains of the essence of that nectarean rasa and distribute that bliss.

Thus ends Chapter 15 of Sri Hari-nama Cintamani entitled

“An Explanation of the Method of Bhajana”.

[1] Caitanya Mahaprabhu leaves this world.

[2] The supreme instruction is that one should chant the Name in association with sadhus.

[3] One with no material possessions.

[4] The mood of divine and spontaneous attachment.
