How to calculate the beginning of the present day of Brahma
Let’s do an exercise and calculate how to arrive to the beginning of the present day of Brahma starting from today, the year 2020.
To arrive at the beginning of Kali Yuga we have to add 3,102 years to 2,020.
Therefore we come to know that we are in the 5,122 year of the age of Kali.
To go back to the beginning of our Maha Yuga we have to add
864,000 of Dvapara Yuga,
1,296,000 of Treta Yuga and
1,728,000 of Satya Yuga
And we arrive at the beginning of our Maha Yuga, that begun 3,895,142 years ago,
which is the 28th Maha Yuga of Vaivasvata Manvantara.
Therefore we have to add 27 Maha-yugas to arrive to the beginning of the present Manvantara,
which is 116,640,000 of human years (432,000*27),
for a total of 120,535,142 years.
Sri Krishna says that He spoke the Bhagavad-gita to Vivasvan 120 millions years ago, so proving that our calculations are correct.
Now we have to add:
Caksusa Manvantara, 306,720,000
Raivata Manvantara, 306,720,000
Tamasa Manvantara, 306,720,000
Uttama Manvantara, 306,720,000
Svarocisha Manvantara, 306,720,000
Svayambhuva Manvantara, 306,720,000
And the sum is (approximately) 1,960,855,142
which marks the beginning of our present day of Brahma.
