Oh my Lord, the inhabitants of this world are beset with all sorts of material anxieties and live in fear all the time. They always strive to protect their bodies, their wealth and their relatives. I am always prey to complaints, to illicit desires; they are attached to undesirable objects and meanly base their exploits on the ephemeral concepts of ‘I’ and ‘mine’. Oh Lord, until they take refuge in the safe shade of Your lotus feet they will always be haunted by these anxieties.

Krishna is the Lord of lords. Worshiping Him, all demigods are worshiped simultaneously. As stated in Srimad Bhagavatam (4.31.14):

yatha taror-mula-nisecanena

trpyanti tat-skandha-bhujopasakhah

pranopaharac ca yathendryanam

tathaiva sarvarhanam acyutejya

Watering the roots of a tree gives energy to the whole tree, the trunk, branches, leaves and everything else. By supplying food to the stomach, the senses and the various limbs of the body are strengthened. Similarly, the mere fact of worshiping the Supreme Personality of Godhead with devotional service also automatically satisfies the demigods, who are His fragments.

Pure devotees do nothing but serve Krishna. In the Padma Purana it is written:

harir eva sada radhyah

sarva-devesvaresvarah

itare brahma-rudradya

navajneyah kadacana

Krishna, Hari, is the master of all demigods, and therefore He is always the object of worship. This does not mean that one should not respect the demigods led by Brahma and Siva.
